Is Solo really free?
Yes. The Solo tier is free forever and runs entirely on your machine as a local desktop app, no account required. It carries the full accountability loop (causal attribution, lessons, the brain) on your own Anthropic key.
What is the difference between free local Solo and Solo Hosted?
Solo (free) is the local desktop app: your data lives on your machine and never leaves it. Solo Hosted ($25/mo) adds a hosted dashboard at repoops.ai/team for your own data, retained history with backups, and brain plus telemetry sync for one user. You are paying to put your data in the cloud, not for the brain itself.
What is BYOK?
BYOK means Bring Your Own Anthropic key. RepoOps uses your own Anthropic API key; it never sees the API content, and your Claude spend is billed directly by Anthropic against your key. Brain Dreaming and Ask synth require a key; every other feature works without one.
What data leaves my machine?
On the free local desktop app, nothing leaves your machine unless you explicitly bind the install to a hosted tier. We never see your code, your brain files, or your Claude Code prompts. On paid hosted tiers, only the data you sync to the hosted dashboard leaves your machine.
Is there an annual discount?
Yes. Annual billing is 12 months for the price of 11. Annual is prepaid; monthly billing has no discount.
Can I cancel, and are refunds available?
Cancel any time, self-service via the Stripe Customer Portal from the billing page. Monthly plans have no automatic refund: seats stay active through the end of the billing period, then lapse. Annual plans get a pro-rated refund for full unused months on request within 60 days of renewal. First-time customers get a full refund on request within the first 14 days.
