RepoOps investigates a change made with an AI coding assistant. It puts the session prompt beside the change it produced, shows the checks that ran on that revision, and records whether the fix was verified. Two people read the result: the engineer explaining a disputed change, and the leader who owns the policy behind it.
What RepoOps investigates
Investigate production issues in GitHub-backed applications. Connect runtime evidence to deployments, code changes and captured AI work. Verify the fix and keep what you learned for the next incident. Every link names the mechanism behind it, and an inferred link stays labeled as one. A missing transcript or a restricted session stays visible as a gap rather than disappearing from the record.
A fix is tested before it merges: the build, the tests, a regression that fails on the affected revision and passes on the fixed one, the guard, and the pull request's own CI. Reviewed guidance is delivered to each device that installs it, and whether the issue recurred is reported as assessed, or as not assessable when no sessions were captured in the window. Nothing on this site claims a guarantee. The sample case walks one synthetic investigation from the instruction to the verified fix.
How RepoOps ships
The desktop app is free and runs on your machine with your own API key. The hosted service at repoops.ai adds retained history, team aggregation, and managed identity, and is what the paid plans cover. What each assistant can provide, by source and version, is on the capture matrix; what leaves your machine is in the privacy policy, not restated here.
Who we are
RepoOps is built and operated by PromptReports LLC, an Illinois limited liability company. The same entity signs the terms, the privacy policy, and the Enterprise DPA.
